Flossie’s work is driven by her empathy, deep listening and energetic intuition. She believes in acupuncture’s profound ability to regulate the nervous system and provide restful nourishment within a fast-paced world.
While I treat an array of conditions, I am most passionate about treating mental-emotional, hormonal and gynecological/reproductive health.
Conditions I work with include (but are not limited to): Anxiety; stress management; burnout; panic disorder; depression; insomnia; OCD; thyroid, digestive and autoimmune conditions; painful or irregular periods; PMS/PMDD; PCOS; uterine fibroids; endometriosis; adenomyosis; vulvodynia; vaginismus; pregnancy; fertility (+ IVF, IUI, egg freezing) support; postpartum; perimenopause; menopause; headaches/migraines; TMJ and chronic pain.
I understand how frustrating it is to feel stuck, disconnected from your core self, or overwhelmed figuring things out on your own. In my practice I offer warm and comprehensive care to address the root of your symptoms, empowering you in your health journey and supporting you along the way. Each treatment is individually tailored and grounded in a trusting relationship between patient and practitioner. My goal is to help patients lead a more energized, pain-free and expansive life - one in which mind, body and spirit are aligned.
I am a New York state licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. I received my Master’s of Science from Pacific College of Health and Science after completing their four year degree and providing over 350 treatments in my clinical residency. Previously, I studied English and Psychology at Georgetown University, where I refined my skills in analysis and connection. In addition to my Chinese Medical education, I am a reiki practitioner, 200hr certified yoga instructor and a perinatal doula. This training has deepened my knowledge of anatomy, subtle energetics, pregnancy and birth.
After working in different clinical settings, I now work full-time in my private practice in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I am constantly inspired by the brilliant, creative and kind patients I get to work with.

“ Her approach is truly holistic; she considers all aspects of your life – nothing is too big or small – when developing a treatment plan (which goes beyond acupuncture itself), and she really takes the time to hear you and your needs during each session to help you feel your best and meet your best self.”
